Painted by Jacques-Laurent Agasse (1767-1849) in 1827, this magnificent work of art depicts a giraffe calf sent as a gift by Mehemet Ali, Pasha of Egypt, to George IV.
A work of art in its own right, this piece has been hand gilded in 24ct gold for a luxurious finish.
