After being awarded its first Royal Warrant by Her Majesty The Queen Mother, HALCYON DAYS continued to gain popularity, not just among its customers, but also within the Royal Family. Following in the footsteps of her mother, in 1978 Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II granted HALCYON DAYS its second Royal Warrant, a rare and prestigious honour, awarded not only for years of continued excellence and dedication, but also as a reflection of Her late Majesty's personal love for the brand. This Warrant was more than a symbol of prestige. It marked a defining moment in our brand's history - a formal recognition of our craftsmanship, heritage and unwavering commitment to excellence, elevating the brand to new heights and affirming its place among Britain's most esteemed purveyors. We remain deeply honoured and grateful to have held this distinction during Her late Majesty's reign.

On 23rd March 2022, HALCYON DAYS was granted a private audience with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at Windsor Castle - an exceptional honour that reflected Her late Majesty's deep appreciation for the brand's dedication to British craftsmanship. In celebration of HALCYON DAYS' 70th Anniversary and The Queen's Platinum Jubilee, Dr and Mrs Peter Harper, the owner's of HALCYON DAYS, were proud to introduce live demonstrations by some of the brand's master craftswomen, exhibiting the intricate enamelling and fine bone china techniques. They also discussed the brand's rich history, showcasing some of our most impressive archive pieces, and some pieces from our current collections, highlighting the evolution of our brand from our beginnings as a boutique antiques business in 1950, to global leaders in traditional British craft in 2022. The warmth, knowledge and curiosity with which Her Majesty engaged with the brand will never be forgotten. It was a day of profound honour and sentiment.

Today, HALCYON DAYS continues to honour Queen Elizabeth II's remarkable legacy with limited-edition creations that celebrate the late monarch's life and service. These pieces serve not only as keepsakes but also as enduring tributes to Her late Majesty as both a symbol of elegance and strength, and as someone with a deep personal connection to the brand.
