HALCYON DAYS ROYAL WARRANTS OF APPOINTMENT
What is a Royal Warrant?
A Royal Warrant of Appointment is a mark of recognition of those companies who have supplied goods or services to the British Royal Households for at least five years, and who have an ongoing trading arrangement. There are currently three Royal Warrants for goods supplied to the Households: Her Majesty The Queen and Their Royal Highnesses The Duke of Edinburgh and The Prince of Wales.
THREE ROYAL WARRANTS
Currently there are around 800 Royal Warrant holders in existence, made up of a huge variety of trades and industries, from individual craftspeople to global multinationals. All Royal Warrant holders are united by a commitment to the very highest standards of service, quality and excellence.
Halcyon Days is one of only fourteen companies in the world to hold all three Royal Warrants and is the only supplier of Objets d’Art.

THE ROYAL SEAL OF APPROVAL
From the earliest times that the Royal Household required goods and services, competition for Royal favour was intense and the Monarch had the pick of the country’s most proficient tradespeople. The earliest surviving record of Royal approval comes from 1155, when Henry II granted the Weavers’ Company a Royal Charter.
By the 15th century the Lord Chamberlain formally appointed Royal tradesmen with the Royal Warrant of Appointment. During Queen Victoria’s reign more than 1000 Royal Warrants were granted.
THE ROYAL ARMS
Royal Warrant holders may display the Royal Arms on their products, premises, stationery, website or advertising. Royal Warrants are reviewed at least every four years. All Royal Warrant holders share a commitment to the highest standards of quality and service.
