Inspired by the legendary Tudor court of Henry VIII and his first Queen, Katherine of Aragon, Halcyon Days are proud to launch ‘The Aragon Collection’, a range of bold and dazzling English fine bone china pieces handcrafted with care by artisans in Stoke-on-Trent, England.
The collection is influenced by the Historic Royal Palaces fabric collection, which was designed by GP & J Baker, and in particular, the Chimney Weave pattern which interprets the architectural elements of the majestic and unmistakeable chimneys of Hampton Court Palace. As a fellow Royal Warrant holder with an international reputation for delivering magnificent fabrics, wall coverings and trimmings, this is an organic and seamless collaboration, one that champions the very best of British craftsmanship coupled with the incredible archive and inspiration offered by the Historic Royal Palaces magnificent portfolio of properties.
‘The Aragon Collection’ comprises of tea, coffee and dinnerware in a midnight blue pattern set upon crisp white English fine bone china.
A contemporary take on Tudor design makes this collection a modern classic and 100% authentically British.
Created in collaboration with Historic Royal Palaces this piece forms part of the Halcyon Days Tudor Collection which features exquisite hand crafted enamel boxes and beautiful Christmas baubles featuring Henry VIII and the Imperial Crown India.
KENSINGTON PALACE GATES COLLECTION
Historic Royal Palaces is the independent charity that looks after the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, the Banqueting House, Kensington Palace, Kew Palace and Hillsborough Castle. The charity's aim is to help explore the story of how monarchs and people alike have shaped society in some of the greatest palaces ever built. In another exciting collaboration with Historic Royal Palaces, Halcyon Days has created a range inspired by the famous 'Golden Gates' found at the entrance to Kensington Palace.
