“I used to wonder what was happening downstairs while I slept the night before Christmas. The inspiration behind this collection came from those magical hours when we are dreaming in our beds and the only creatures stirring might be the family dog and the gifts under the tree, waiting to be enjoyed. I love the idea that the dog discovers before anyone else what St. Nicholas brought. Imagining what that interaction would be like, I think the Spotty Dog and the gift of the Nutcracker would have a great rapport.“
